And the award goes to…2010 Creative Solutions Winners Named

After a careful review, the panel of judges named 3 winners for the 2010 Connecticut Creative Solutions Award.  One Honorable Mention was also awarded.  The winners were:  The Town of East Hartford for their sandbag chute, the Town of Simsbury for their Plate Compactor Dolley and the City of New London for their Food Waste Recycling and Backyard Composting Program.  Honorable Mention was given to the Town of Simsbury for their Welding Machine Organizer. 

The Winners will be honored at this year’s Graduation and Award Ceremony on October 28th in Storrs and will be entered into the National Build a Better Mousetrap Competition sponsored by the Federal Highway Administration’s Local Technical Assistance Program.  In addition, they will be on display next week at the Expo – COME AND CHECK THEM OUT!
