Congratulations 2013 Creative Solutions Award Winners

Please join us in congratulating the Town of Hebron and District Two of the CT Dept. of Transportation for their winning solutions.

The winning solutions were as follows:

Town of Hebron – Sign Base Carrier

DOT District Two – Salt Chute for Dump Body Rear Mounted Spinners

This solution improves efficiency by applying material where it works best and also reduces the amount of material used; saving money and reducing environmental impact.

Thank you to our judges: Tony Amaral – Town of Simsbury, Bill Dwinnells – Town of Bethel, Mose Saccary – Town of New Canaan, and Tim Webb – Town of Ellington- for their hard work and support. The winning solutions were highlighted at the 2013 Technology Transfer Expo here in Storrs on September 18th and received recognition at this year’s Graduation and Awards Ceremony on October 24th.

Details about this year’s winning entries as well as those from the past are highlighted in our online Creative Solutions Award Guide at http://www.t2center.uconn.edu/solutionsaward.php
