2013 Ceremony Honors Largest Graduating Class in T2 History

On October 24, 2013, the Technology Transfer Center staff, guests and Connecticut’s top 2013_road_scholar_grouptransportation leaders honored the 140 transportation professionals who completed our certificate programs in 2013 – the largest class of graduates in the Technology Transfer Center’s history, to date.

There were 77 Road Master graduates, 29 Road Scholar graduates, 10 Legal Traffic Authority graduates and 24 Public Works Academy graduates. It is important to note that 65 of our 2013 graduating class were members of our CT Dept. of Transportation.

Our keynote speakers for the event were Division Administrator Amy Jackson-Grove of keynotes_2013FHWA, Commissioner James P. Redeker of the CT Dept. of Transportation and two graduates – Public Works Director Alan Green of Bethany and Risk Manager Marty Maynard of Windsor. Graduate speakers Alan Green and Marty Maynard shared how their experiences and information learned while attending workshops offered by the Technology Transfer Center has been an important aspect oDOT_ccsa-winners_2013f their professional development and how much it has helped them in their careers.

The 2013 Connecticut Creative Solutions Award winners were also recognized during the ceremony and each of the winners shared information with the audience about their winning creative solution.
