2015 Ceremony Honoring T2 Program Graduates

On October 22, 2015, the Technology Transfer Center staff, guests and Connecticut’s top transportation leaders honored the 152 professionals who completed one or more of our five different certificate programs in 2015.

There were 43 Public Works Academy graduates, 61 Road Master graduates, 21 Road Scholar graduates, 15 Legal Traffic Authority graduates and 12 Transportation Leadership Program graduates. It is important to note that 50 of our 2015 graduating class were members of the CT Dept. of Transportation.

Keynote Speakers

The opening remarks to our ceremony were delivered by Dean Kazem Kazerounian from the School of Engineering at the University of Connecticut. Our keynote speakers for the event were Division Administrator Amy Jackson-Grove of FHWA, Commissioner James P. Redeker of the CT Dept. of Transportation and three graduates – Road Foreman Jeff Schambach of Vernon, Transportation Maintenance Planner Frederick DiNardi from the CT Dept. of Transportation and Director of Public Works Mark Moriarty of New Britain.

The 2015 Creative Solutions Award winners were also recognized during the ceremony and each the winners shared information with the audience about their winning creative solutions.
